Best Italian dinner we've ever had We had perhaps the best Italian dinner my husband and I have ever had. The Spaghetti Bolognese was orgasmic. I would kill for the recipe. All the flavors of this dish melded together into absolute perfection! My husband had the Cacciucco Livornese. This dish is done time and again in restaurants but I guarantee that none matches the level of perfection LoCoco’s achieves. We live in the South Bay; however, we will make a trip to dine at LoCoco’s sooner rather than later. It is well worth the 100+ mile trip for dinner.

Our favorite meal of trip! This little privately-owned authentic Italian joint was perfect for us. The food was fabulous! They serve an olive spread with the fresh bread that I just couldn't get enough of. We tried Lasagna and Eggplant Parma and both were delicious. The mousse was a perfect topper to a wonderful meal. Our waiter was quite nice but very busy and not overly attentive, but the assistant was right on top of everything. We will definitely go back when in Sonoma.

This place deserves every single star This place deserves every single star, and let me tell you why. I was looking for a place to take my mom for mother's day and I wanted it to be super special. I read the yelp reviews on this place and decided to make a reservation. I asked if I could bring a cake and flowers ahead of time and have the cake served at dessert, to which they said yes, awesome. That day, i hustled by after work and ran by home to pick up the cake and flowers before my mom got home from her weekend trip. To my surprise, the bike race was going on downtown and I couldn't get to railroad square. I ended up parking at the end of 5th street and having to walk all the way there- cake and flowers in hand. By the time I got there the cake was a bit melted- the side had brushed up against the container and the frosting was smashed- I was so mad! I walked in and asked if they could fix it up for me, and they told me they would and that they would be able to set the flowers on the table for me and everything. I was so relieved! I brought my mom and dad to the restaurant and the place was super busy and we were seated right away. The noise level is loud and the space small and quaint. The flowers were set at the center of the table and they looked beautiful. Dinner went very well- i had the boar sausage and mushroom pasta which was AMAZING. The staff was fantastic and friendly and attentive for how busy they were. Dessert is what really made the evening perfect. They brought the cake out (all fixed up of course) with a candle in it and surprised my mom- who had NO idea that I had bought a cake for her. When she blew out the candle the brought it back out on plates for us, dressed up with powdered sugar and dessert moscato. I can't say enough how fantastic this place was. I had a vision of wanting to make this the perfect Mother's Day and they helped me make it happen. The wait-staff was great, but Brenda was the one who helped me out the most. It was perfect and I am so happy that I went here and I will continue to recommend this place as well as take everyone here!!

This is real Italian I love the food here, it is real old fashioned italian and you will find things on the menu that are not at other establishments. The wine list is great, and the service and atmosphere upbeat, fun and also professional! Love it!

LoCoco's!!! What a great surprise... we wanted Italian food, but did not expect the best we've ever had... ever. We got there after 6pm and all tables were reserved, so we grabbed a couple seats at the bar and ordered a bottle of Gundlach Bundschu Merlot for $30, very reasonable. The place has an incredible rustic charm and smells like great Italian food. My wife had Wild Boar Sausage with Forest Mushrooms with Pappardelle pasta. Amazing. I wanted something a little spicy, so I turned to the Sausage, broccoli rabe, pasta and chilies. Amazing. Just a lot of great flavors with that comfort-food type experience. We would highly recommend this for dinner, but it's a small place, so it would seem that a reservation would be the best way to go... or roll the dice and sit at the bar. But it was a great experience and the food was outstanding. We definitely plan on going back the next time we are within 60 miles of the place.

Best Italian Food in the Bay Area Lococo's has the best Italian food in the entire Bay Area, hands down. Great service, and a lively atmosphere that is a little slice of Italy right in Sonoma County. If you're looking for amazing Italian food, you simply must go here.

GREAT food and service We opted for this place as only one of us had tried it before. As the 4 of us ech got a different entree - some just pasta, others other options. One had the Osso Bucco - which we were told was about the best had in quite some time. All thought the meal, service, and overall evening was just wonderful. We can not recommend LoCocco's highly enough. When next in Santa Rosa, if you enjoy quality Italian food you won't go wrong.

In Santa Rosa --must Do! I've been working in the Santa Rosa/Rohnert ark area for the last 6 months. This is hands down THE BEST food of any restaurants we've been to. Tonight had the Sea bass in tomato sauce with kalata olives and capers!. Words can't describe the exquisite flavor of the sauce and fish. My co-worker "desert freak extrordinaire" can't leave without having the Terra Massu (sp). It is "to die for". We both travel all over the US and this place is incomparable. If you are in the area--make it here!!!!!

Give it time, it's well worth the wait Stopped in for a virgin visit with a friend on a Tuesday night. Downtown Santa Rosa didn’t seem too busy but Lococo’s was hoppin’! The menu looked inviting and we were smitten with the rustic look of the place, so we asked for a table and were seated immediately. The ambiance is delightful, very Old World casual. Immediately transported to Italy or at least a Little Italy somewhere! We ordered the ravioli di manzo (me) and the capellini pomodoro (she). Our waiter brought some excellent bread and oil to the table, good thing because we did have to wait a LONG time for our meal. Such was the rush of diners that night. Our waiter apologized and checked on our meals for us. No problem. I had a read meat sauce with my ravioli instead of the sage butter and it was excellent. My friend thought her dish was the best she’d ever had. Virgin visit a success; I can’t wait to go back! Oh, and our meal cost about the same as the two glasses of wine we sampled a few doors down, so we thought their pricing was fair.
